SA's water crisis | Boreholes run dry at Elim Hospital in Limpopo
JOHANNESBURG - Water supply issues continue to plague the Elim Hospital in Limpopo.
It's been without water for the past three weeks.
The facility's boreholes have also dried up.
The province's health department has acknowledged the situation and is responding by sending water tankers to the hospital to keep it operating.
The South African Human Rights Commission is expected to visit the hospital today to assess the situation.
For more on this, Victor Mavhidula, from the commission joins us now via Zoom.
