JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Water says its Hursthill 2 reservoir is at critically low levels to empty, affecting residents on the grid.
The reservoir was isolated on Friday night to build capacity, but systems have been opened on Saturday morning.
At the same time, it announced that its SAP system is offline.
This means call-logging systems will be slower than normal.
Johannesburg customers are being advised to log calls with the City of Johannesburg at 0860 562 874.
Meanwhile, Rand Water CEO Sipho Mosai said there is enough water to supply everyone in Gauteng.

Rand Water’s systems crashed recently, causing water supply to drop to critical levels.
Mosai warns that ailing infrastructure could affect distribution if it's not addressed.
