JOHANNESBURG - Supply has been restored to most parts of Tsakane in Ekurhuleni.
It comes after a two-month struggle that saw frustrated locals take to the streets to protest the prolonged interruption.
The Mapleton system has now been restored, which includes the Pholosong Hospital.
But high-lying areas are still not receiving any water.
The city says this is due to protesters blocking technicians from switching on pumps at the Xhosa reservoir.
