JOHANNESBURG - It’s become the double threat of Joburg's water crisis.
A growing struggle to supply water while at the same time losing it to leaks and burst pipes.
And blame is being put on both infrastructure problems and political turmoil.

According to a Sunday Times report, the instability in water supply at local government level has prompted Deputy President Paul Mashatile to want to step in.
The exact plan for national government's involvement in local government affairs is yet to be revealed.
