JOHANNESBURG - Medical professionals union, Samatu says the government has a moral obligation to hire student doctors after their training.
The union plans to march to the Health Department demanding jobs for doctors who have finished their community service.

"Government has a statutory obligation to employ interns for two years, which is part of training then community service, said Percy Mahlati, DDG for Hospital Services.
"After community service, there is no legal obligation to employ but there is a moral obligation to employ."
