SA’s health emergency | Health officials visit Eersterust Clinic

JOHANNESBURG - Residents in Eersterust are calling on government to implement a technological system at the clinic to avoid long queues.

Some of the challenges here are long queues and staffers working over time to treat over 500 patients a day.

Some patients say it takes hours before they are assisted.

Health Minister Joe Phaahla wants to look into the issues.

The Gauteng Health MEC is expected to visit the clinic to get a feedback report on the progress made.
