SA’s health emergency | Criminals targeting EC health facilities

EAST LONDON - Eastern Cape Health MEC Nomakhosazana Meth is urging communities to protect health facilities.

She says criminals are now not only attacking ambulances, but also fixed property to steal valuables.

Meth says the department can't afford to beef up security.

"We are appealing to society to protect the facilities. They must help us and not say bring security guards because that becomes unaffordable.”
