SA's electricity crisis | Various stages of blackouts this week

JOHANNESBURG - Check your local blackout schedule to see how the week's new blackout schedule will impact your life.

Stage 1 power cuts were underway until 4pm, thereafter stage 3 kicks in.

From then on various stages of power cuts will be implemented until Wednesday at midnight.

Eskom says there's been progress in the generation capacity at two power stations.

But repairs are still underway and there's been various delays in units returning to service at four power stations.

Breakdowns currently at 17,000 megawatts of generating capacity.
