JOHANNESBURG - Students from the Sefako Makgatho Health Science University in Pretoria are demanding University management lift the suspensions of three SRC members and another student.
The students were suspended on Wednesday following an ongoing shutdown at the institution.
Students are angry over delays in NSFAS allowance payouts.
Meanwhile, management says the suspensions followed due process as the protests are disturbing operations at the university.
University management is expected to engage the students and labour unions to find a way forward.
