SA's Education Crisis | Protest action erupts at Sefako Makgatho University

JOHANNESBURG - Sefako Makgatho Health Science University is the latest tertiary institution to close its doors due to ongoing protest action.

The university's SRC says students have not received their National Student Financial Aid Scheme [NSFAS] allowances for this year.

This marks three months of struggle and hunger for the students.

Recently Wits University students also embarked on a total shutdown over similar concerns.
