SAPS aims to sweep away crime through Operation Shanela

JOHANNESBURG - Over 200 people have been arrested on the first day of Operation Shanela.

An expansion of O Kae Molao, it was officially launched on Saturday morning in Johannesburg.

It’s aimed at fighting rampant crime, which continues to be a concern for law-abiding citizens.

Police Minister Bheki Cele and National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola, are leading the operation.
