Saldanha Bay community hopeful Joshlin Smith will be found

SALDANHA BAY- Authorities at Saldanha Bay are hopeful that they will eventually succeed in their search for Joshlin Smith with the help of the City of Cape Town's enhanced policing resources.

The six-year-old has not been seen or heard from in at least two weeks. Now community members, who have been helping in the search, fear that time is running out.

Following the discovery of adult and child tracks close to the beach on Thursday, the teams searched a nearby resort.

The police continue to issue warnings to individuals not to provide sensitive information in order to obstruct investigations.

They gave an update on the case on Friday.
