JOHANNESBURG - The South African Human Rights Commission in the Western Cape is not happy with the new living arrangements for homeless former farm workers in Paarl.
This follows its inspection of the area on Wednesday.
A group of about 45 families, most of whom were evicted from a farm after its 2016 sale in Paarl, were temporarily accommodated at New Orleans Park but, in 2018, a court ordered that the municipality provide alternative accommodation.
