PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country backs up the call for dialogue in dealing with instability within the African continent.
Speaking at the Union Buildings, Ramaphosa says it's important to make Africa a peaceful continent and come up with resolutions that will end conflicts.
At the same time, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is reiterating calls for practical solutions to the security challenges Africa is grappling with.
He says African Union meetings don't provide ways to deal with conflict across the continent.
Ramaphosa is hosting Museveni at the Union Buildings.
This is Museveni's first state visit since 2011.
