JOHANNESBURG - The electricity crisis will be part of Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu Hassan's state visit talks as South Africa considers buying power from her country.
Hassan is in the country to strengthen the two countries' trade and economic ties.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa is considering buying electricity from Tanzania to help with the energy crisis.
"We would like to buy some power from Tanzania and it's a matter that we will be looking at because they are also ramping up their own power," Ramaphosa said.
