JOHANNESBURG - Oscar Mabuyane will know on Tuesday if the SIU will continue its probe into his qualifications.
The Eastern Cape Premier is accused of being registered for a Masters without completing his Honours.
He wants the High Court to exclude him from the inquiry into academic fraud at Forth Hare University.
Mabuyane emphatically asserts that he obtained his qualification through legitimate means.
"I went to the integrity commission voluntarily. Nothing new, nothing changes, all others are lies," he said.
"I felt it was enough and that's why I took it to court. That matter will be ventilated before the judge.
"Fort Hare denied me a platform to appear before the Senate and the council," Mabuyane said.
"They kept on running their narrative using media against my name."
