JOHANNESBURG - Rolling blackouts have been lowered to stage 2 from 4pm on Sunday afternoon until 5am on Monday.
Then it will be suspended completely until 4pm on Monday afternoon when Eskom will return to stage 4.

The power utility says this comes off the back of lower demand and improved available generation capacity.
From Tuesday, South Africans will get a slight reprieve during the day when stage 1 is instituted from 5am to 4pm.
Eskom says breakdowns have been reduced to below 16,000 megawatts.
