Restore the power grid | Stage 2 and 3 blackouts indefinitely

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has announced Stage 2 power cuts from 9am until 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

Thereafter, Stage 3 will be implemented until 5am Wednesday morning.

The power utility says this pattern will go on until further notice.

It says this is due to the forced shutdown of two generating units.

Eskom says it will monitor the system and communicate to the public should there be any significant changes.
