JOHANNESBURG - Some Soweto residents are fuming after eight months without power.
Residents say Eskom switched off supply due to non-payment.
They say re-connection fees are too steep.
One resident said she has to boil water outside on an open fire to cook and for bathwater.
"There was a request for R500 to be paid to Eskom to reconnect but up until now there's no electricity," she said.
