PRETORIA - SAFTU is demanding that Public Enterprises withdraw its appeal of a blackout exemption order.
The High Court ordered government to exempt hospitals, schools and police stations from planned outages.
The Department says the exemption is impractical and will put the national grid at risk.
Members of the federation picketed outside the department's offices in Pretoria yesterday.
