Restore the Power Grid | Electricity drought leaves taps with no water

JOHANNESBURG - Taps have been running dry in parts of Johannesburg.

The Eikenhof power substation experienced a total loss of supply last Monday.

This led to reservoirs running empty, and while repairs have been completed, they are not yet replenished.

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says this is a countrywide problem.
