JOHANNESBURG - Former DA MP Renaldo Gouws says he's exploring legal options after being dismissed from the party.
The DA’s Federal Executive reached this decision unanimously following a comprehensive investigation by the party's Federal Legal Commission.
Gouws was found to have breached multiple sections of the DA's constitution, resulting in the loss of his parliamentary seat.
He was seen using racial slurs in a video that went viral earlier this year.
In a statement, Gouws says he disagrees with the party's decision and his comments from 15 years ago were taken out of context.
