JOHANNESBURG - Hundreds of Ekurhuleni Metro residents have been left stranded after failing to gain access to deployed water tankers.
This as the bulk water supplier Rand Water’s maintenance programme continues.
Residents blame authorities for poor communication and lack of planning as many are without water.

The City of Ekurhuleni says the system has not fully recovered following the three days of successful maintenance.
It remains unclear when the entire system will recover.
The Rand Water maintenance programme is expected to be concluded on 29 July.
