JOHANNESBURG - Electricity Minister, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, says that the country is entering a very difficult period of Winter and the worst case scenario would be going beyond stage six blackouts.
Ramokgopa says that there are also issues of units tripping.
He says high demand but low supply is the main cause of the country's electricity crisis.
He says he's working on closing that gap.
He was speaking during a briefing after his visits to several power stations last month.
