PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa has refused to sign The Copyright Amendment Bill and Performers’ Protection Amendment Bill.
Instead, he is referring the two pieces of legislation to the constitutional court.

According to the Presidency, Ramaphosa raised concerns about provisions in the legislation originally drafted and reconsidered by Parliament and as a result asked for the apex court to make a decision.
