The Bana Pele Summit is hosted by Basic Education in partnership with Business Leadership SA.
It will address a range of critical issues.
Among the key topics are the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act.
The summit brings together government and civil society.
It comes as over a-million children are not enrolled in any early childhood development programmes.
