JOHANNESBURG - Some in the legal fraternity are questioning the methodology of the independent panel.
Former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela says there is a difference between information and evidence.
She believes the panel looking into the 2020 burglary at President Cyril Ramaphosa's Limpopo farm failed to make that distinction.
She also says Ramaphosa did report the Phala Phala farm theft in line with the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act.
At the same time, Madonsela says General Wally Rhoode was informed of the theft as the Act prescribes.
