JOHANNESBURG - Public sector unions say they will give details on their national strike early next week.
The Cosatu-affiliated unions are rejecting government's 3 percent increase.
Police union Popcru, nursing union Denosa and health union Nehawu are among the unions that want double-digit increases.
They are yet to issue a notice to strike.
But the Public Servants Association has already started lunchtime pickets.
It wants a 6.5 percent increase.
Denosa says a crippling strike will go ahead unless government makes an offer closer to inflation.
