JOHANNESBURG - Public sector trade unions have decided to continue putting pressure on government to accept their 10 percent wage hike.
A process will get underway to mobilise members towards strike action, with a notice due to be served on 22 February.
Unions are also planning to skip Friday's Special Council meeting with government, meant to kick-start negotiations for the 2023/2024 financial year.
There will be pickets at the Finance Minister's and MEC's budget speeches in the coming weeks.
