Public Interest SA welcomes speaker's resignation
JOHANNESBURG - The organisation Public Interest SA has applauded the resignation of National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.
However, it's concerned by the slow progress in addressing allegations of bribery against her.

Mapisa-Nqakula is out on bail after being formally charged this week. She maintains her innocence.
But Public Interest SA says there's a dual criminal justice system that affords preferential treatment to high-profile individuals.
