JOHANNESBURG - The Public Service Bargaining Council has provided an update on the imminent public service strike.
According to the PSBC, only the Public Servants Association - with more than 200,000 members has issued a strike notice.
The council says other unions, including Nehawu, Popcru, Denosa, SAPU and Hospersa, have all been afforded certificates of non-resolution.
Several unions are meeting next week to finalise their picketing rules.
The PSBC says unions will need to issue a seven-day notice to the Council to if they want to commence with strike action.
