JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says proposed changes to South Africa's visa system could fill a skills shortage and create more jobs.
Last week, Home Affairs published comments for the draft amendments to existing immigration regulations.
Ramaphosa says the critical skills and remote working visa can help fill the gaps.

A report published last year found that South Africa's labour supply does not meet demand.
Some of the most crucial roles needed include engineers, technicians, science and math educators and IT experts.
The amendments propose fast-tracking employment and streamlining administration processes.
