JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is checking on service delivery issues in Emfuleni in Gauteng.
The area has been struggling to access basic services like water.
In fact, Parliament's Cooperative Governance Committee said the municipality is a shadow of its glorious past.
It said it can't even deliver on its Constitutional mandate.
Added to that is its hefty Eskom bill of over R6-billion.
The president will visit the area’s wastewater treatment plant before meeting with the community.
