President Ramaphosa to open global teachers forum

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa will open the Education International 10th Africa Regional Conference in Sandton.

Education International is a global education labour federation with over 32 million members.

The conference seeks to formulate strategies for equitable, inclusive and high-quality public education.

It will also address challenges brought by Covid-19, Ebola, HIV/AIDS and climate change.

The gathering takes place every four years and serves as a platform for reports and policy adoption.
