Praise Poet Jessica Mbangeni dies aged 47

JOHANNESBURG - Bishop Jessica Mbangeni, a revered custodian of African heritage and a cherished daughter of the Xhosa nation, has passed away.

Known for her vibrant Xhosa Praise Poetry, music, dance, and African fashion, she made an indelible mark as a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir. 

Her legacy of cultural celebration and artistic excellence will be deeply missed.
