Power outage at Eikenhof station disrupts Joburg’s water supply

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg’s water system was disrupted by an outage at Rand Water’s Eikenhof pump station on Monday night.

The disruption affected areas such as Soweto, Randburg, Roodepoort Joburg South and Joburg Central.

Joburg Water has released a statement, urging residents to use water-saving measures and lessen their consumption while they work on fixing the problem.
