JOHANNESBURG - The Political Killings National Task Team has been deployed to probe the killing of another councillor in KwaZulu-Natal.
He was gunned down in Mtubatuba, northern KwaZulu-Natal, on Wednesday.
Two school pupils were also killed during the incident when the gunmen shot randomly at scholar transport.
Two other pupils were injured.
The IFP says the exact details surrounding the killing are still unclear.
Last year, SALGA in KZN said assassinations are a leading cause of death for ward councillors in the province.
