PRETORIA - Police confiscated scheduled medicines, steroids, and other performance-enhancing drugs from a self-storage facility in northern Pretoria, this week.
The estimated worth of these confiscated drugs is R15 million.
Mokgadi Fafudi from South African Health Products regulator says it's illegal for any drug to be on the market without having been evaluated.
"These medicines are illegal. They are not authorised, they are not registered and even the people that are handling this are unlawful, they are not professionals", she said.
