Police search for Port Shepstone taxi rank gunmen

DURBAN - Police are searching for gunmen who killed four and injured four others at a taxi rank in Port Shepstone on Tuesday.

Another two people were injured as bystanders rushed to flee the area.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance spokesperson Craig Botha says one person is in critical condition and several others are stable.

The motive is not clear.

But Ray Nkonyeni Municipality spokesperson Simon April says it might involve two associations fighting over taxi routes.
