KRUGERSDORP - Police have discovered two more bodies near an open Krugersdorp mine shaft.
Nineteen bodies were found there on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says there’s no evidence the alleged illegal miners were murdered.
Police also suspect the bodies have been moved to the site after the deaths.
"Two more bodies were discovered this morning [Thursday]. They were discovered from an open mine shaft not far from the 19 bodies.

"There's no evidence suggesting that they were murdered. The challenge now is we believe that they were moved," she said.
"The two bodies were found in an open mine shaft, it's something that it will be proven through the investigation of the inquest that these 19 bodies could have possibly come from the open mine shaft where the other two were discovered."
