DURBAN - Police Minister Bheki Cele is urging the men and women in blue to show no mercy on criminals.
Cele says the country is full of criminals and they must be hunted down and flushed out.
He was speaking at the funeral service for slain police officer Sthembiso Mazibuko.
Mazibuko was killed during a shootout with suspects at a house in Ntuzuma last week.
