Police investigating Taxi, e-hailing driver clashes at Maponya Mall

JOHANNESBURG -  The police are investigating a case of attempted murder and malicious damage to property following clashes at Maponya Mall in Soweto on Thursday.

The fight is believed to have been between taxi and e-hailing drivers.

It's reported that three vehicles were torched and the drivers assaulted. One was shot.

All three victims were taken to hospital.

Police say no one has been arrested so far.

The Gauteng Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela has condemned the attacks.
