PIETERMARITZBURG - Residents in Pietermaritzburg have taken their frustration over poor service delivery to the streets.
They're accusing the Umsunduzi municipality of double-billing them, leaving them in arrears.
Many say the new billing system is leaving them financially drained.
The residents picketed outside the city hall while an executive committee meeting was taking place, demanding answers from the municipal manager and the mayor.
The Umsunduzi Municipality says it will meet with residents and their leaders soon.
