CAPE TOWN - Pro-Palestine supporters have labelled Cape Town’s graffiti-by-laws as unconstitutional and illegal.
Some residents painted the Palestinian flag on their properties to shine a spotlight on the war in Gaza.
But the City painted over them, insisting they did not have permission.

The City of Cape Town has encouraged the public to apply when intending to install public art and murals at their properties.
Officials say more than 30 murals have been approved across the City since May last year.
