JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Transport MEC, Jacob Mamabolo, met with Putco management on Wednesday.
He raised concerns about the recent unlawful strike action that left many passengers stranded.
Putco bus drivers rejected proposed wage offers.
Over 100 bus drivers have since been dismissed for downing tools.
The bus company's spokesperson Lindokuhle Xulu said, "one of the issues that the MEC wanted to raise was that he understands that every company has to uphold its own processes when it comes to discipline, especially with those with gross misconduct. What he asked was to have some consideration to those who lost jobs."
Xulu said appeal processes will be opened for 105 workers who have been dismissed.
