Organisations react to Ramaphosa's cabinet of the old and new

JOHANNESBURG - Different organisations have expressed their feelings with newly announced cabinet by President Cyril Ramaphosa. 

There have been mixed reactions to the new government as new faces join in and old faces moved around to head different departments.

Thembi Nkadimeng is the new Justice and Constitutional Development Minister, and her deputy is Andries Nel. 

Mbekezeli Benjamin from Judges Matter says  Minister Nkadimeng is a welcome addition to the ministry.

Medical Expert And Convener Of The Progressive Health Forum, Aslam Dasoo rejects Dr Aaron Motsoaledi's appointment as health minister.

Dasoo says Motsoaledi is also responsible for some of the health sector failures. 

Motsoaledi replaces Joe Phaahla, who has served in the portfolio since August 2021. Motsoaledi previously served as Health Minister from 2009 to 2019.

Progressive health forum rejects health minister

National Professions Teachers' Organisation of South Africa executive director, Basil Manuel says that he is looking forward to working with the DA's Siviwe Gwarube.

She was appointed as the new minister of Basic Education taking over from Minister Angie Motshekga.
