Opposition leader to returns back to unrest stuck Mozambique

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - Opposition leader Venâncio Mondlane has returned back to Mozambique from self-imposed exile.

Mondlane says he feared for his life but is now ready to engage in talks over the disputed results.

His return to the country as scene on the ground remains intense following the October elections.

The election dispute triggered waves of violence that have left around 300 people dead.

The unrest also saw Mozambique's economy suffer a huge blow with cross-border trade being stopped.
