JOHANNESBURG - Over 700 suspects have been arrested in police raids around Johannesburg.
Gauteng police commissioner Tommy Mthombeni led a high-density operation in the Sedibeng region on Saturday night.
It's part of the police's Operation Shanela crime-fighting and visibility strategy.
"We are continuing to ensure that communities feel safe," he said.
