BERGVILLE, KwaZulu-Natal - Bergville residents are still reeling in shock after five family members were stabbed to death.
KZN police have apprehended a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident after a wide-scale manhunt.
Community leaders say residents are living in fear.

Okhahlamba Municipal Mayor Vikizitha Mlotshwa said, "A few months ago, there was such an incident that happened within the same family."
"And I think all the people in Bethany are afraid now because of the things that are happening here. But I can safely say the incident has shaken the whole Ukhahlamba area because of the nature [of the incident that] has had happened."
"A few days ago, we heard about this Lusikisiki incident then along the way we come across such a thing here in our area, therefore as Okhahlamba local municipality that is why we are here with the councillors to say we are with the family throughout the whole process that is going to take place."
