JOHANNESBURG - The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has welcomed findings by the Special Investigating Unit.
However, board chairperson, Ernest Khoza says he is confident the loopholes have now been closed.
The SIU has revealed that the scheme paid over R5 billion to unqualifying students in the last four years.
We are talking around 40,000 students at various institutions.
